Shell Eco-marathon
Shell Eco-marathon Americas (although the competition is global) is a program, for STEM students to design and build energy efficient cars, and then compete against other universities and high schools around the country. Teams put their theories of energy-efficiency to the test, using technology, critical thinking, and innovative ideas. There are two key competition types: The Mileage Challenge – competing to see who can get around laps of the track using the least amount of energy and The Drivers’ World Championship – matching the proven energy-efficiency of their car, with the strategy, skill and speed of the driver to see who crosses the finish line first, without running out of their tiny allocation of energy.

STEM
We are a group competing students made up of 10th to 12th graders that are interested in the fields of engineering.
In this club, we use STEM to help us build an urban concept and battery electric prototype car for the Shell Eco Marathon competition.
Our Goal:
Our goal is to become better leaders in the fields of technology and engineering by improving upon our own ideas and sharing the world of engineering with more students. We accomplish this through the leadership of our coach and veteran students and through the dedication of all those on the team, and through the hard work, we are sure that we can improve and succeed now and the future.
Urban Concept:
This car simulates what a normal car is,
but it is a lot smaller and uses a
hydrogen fuel cell in place of gas for energy.
Prototype:
This is a prototype car that is meant
to be made as small as possible.
It is fueled by lithium-ion battery.
